Another app Icon I had begun working on but hadn’t quite finished until now. The Tweetbot icon is full of character and colour and just looks great on-screen. 
Messing around with the Paper app on the iPad one day I decided to see if I could replicate an app icon and this is the result. It’s not perfect, but I wasn’t really going for perfection… just a hand-drawn approximation to practise techniques and strokes. Continuing in my efforts to improve my skills in the Paper iPad app, I moved on to the Camera+ app icon. I really like the hand-crafted painterly effects that result when using this app; it just adds character to the finished work. For my third effort I chose a seemingly simpler icon to attempt to replicate. The Google+ icon turned out to be somewhat more technical than I had expected, but I think I did an ok job again, don’t you?
